Job summary

URBN in Raymore, Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated systems, conveyors, and facility equipment. This mid-level technician serves as a primary responder to equipment issues and supports preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480V, read schematics, and document activity in CMMS, collaborating with team members and vendors while mentoring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with automation, conveyors, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and perform basic PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (up to 480V).
• Maintain motors, VFDs, sensors, gearboxes, bearings, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot automation systems (conveyors, sortation, ASRS, packaging).
• Resolve jams, sensor faults, and minor electrical or pneumatic failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system calibrations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics; perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Identify equipment issues and support continuous improvement and RCA efforts.
• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and support staff; assist junior technicians.
