Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC, seeks an experienced Automation leader to guide daily improvements and long-term upgrades across SCADA, PLC, and MES systems. You will coach SMEs, ensure uptime, and align automation with NN business plans.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders, drive KPI development, and manage a high-performing team while complying with GMP and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of IT or Automation experience in a GMP manufacturing environment required.
• Minimum of 4 years of people leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to lead/direct other people leaders.

Responsabilités

• Develop strategic direction for automation assets, monitor advancements and implement new technologies.
• Collaborate with department leadership on training, development, coaching, performance management, recruitment & employee relations.
• Manage, lead & coach SMEs to ensure a high performing team with feedback, structure & accountability.
• Drive technical discussions & problem solving across systems.
• Create, develop, define & implement KPIs for areas of responsibility.
• Engage stakeholders across the organization including Denmark (DK) and ensure systems meet production needs.
