Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Groovy with REST APIs.
• Experience building automation and self-service tooling.
• Strong AWS and cloud platform knowledge.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence integrations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and build automation and self-service tooling that eliminates manual ticket-driven work across the team's application portfolio.
• Own the full lifecycle of the software you build, from design through production operation.
• Actively balance technical debt against feature delivery across multiple systems.
• Design and build integrations between enterprise applications (Jira, Confluence, and adjacent systems).
• Partner with the team's infrastructure engineers to ensure automation is reliable, secure, and well-architected.
• Lead technical design efforts, mentor teammates, and review the work of others for quality and correctness.
• Collaborate with internal customers to understand pain points, gather requirements, and validate that self-service solutions meet their needs.
• Establish patterns and frameworks that make it easy for the team to build future automation consistently.
