Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with automation software development languages (e.g., Ladder, ST, C/C++)
• 10+ years experience with controls and automation software environments (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley ControlLogix)
• 10+ years experience with 'from scratch' software in automated tooling or equipment
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong design and process simplification skills

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation
• Develop technical architecture, roadmap and implementation
• Collaborate with data-science and analytics teams for closed-loop enhancements
• Electrical design and modification of industrial control/safety systems
• Design/modify PLC and robot programs
• Design of process control systems
• Development of data collection solutions
• Support SCADA applications (Ignition, Kepware, AWS)
• Provide production support for sophisticated manufacturing equipment
