Job summary

Tekgence Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive manual UI testing and automated testing across web services. You will design and execute test plans, create test scripts with Selenium in C#, and perform API testing with Postman and performance testing with JMeter.

Strong Python skills and CI/CD familiarity are required. The role involves collaboration in an Agile Scrum environment, contributing to cloud-based deployments (AWS) and working with databases like Postgres and MySQL.

Qualifications

Job description

Proven experience in software development industry, participating in team environment .

Proven experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with Python or C#.

Strong experience in testing web services such as RESTful API.

Strong experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter.

Experience working in a cloud-based development and production environment such as AWS .

Experience with Databases such as Postgres , MySQL , ElasticSearch , OpenSearch

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C#, .Net.

Familiarity working in a Continuous Integration atmosphere.

Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]

Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan test specification, and test case templates.

Develop and document test plans and test specifications.

Develop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools ; document and summarize results.

Facilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes through reporting.

Review requirements documented as Functional Specifications, User Stories or Change Requests.

Identify test data and prepare test cases for automation.

Participate in system and regression testing.

Manage and prioritize defects from detection through to resolution.

Must have test case design experience and knowledge of test case design techniques.
