Job summary

Vizient is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, build, test, deploy, and support intelligent automation solutions across the enterprise. You will leverage Power Platform, UiPath, APIs, cloud services, and software engineering practices to deliver reliable production solutions integrated with enterprise data and applications.

You will collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders from discovery through production support, owning moderately to complex automation

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5+ years in software/automation engineering or related tech functions.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform and/or UiPath.
• Experience with C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PowerShell.
• REST APIs, databases, enterprise integrations, source control, and modern practices.
• Automated testing, CI/CD, authentication and security patterns, logging, and production support preferred.
• Deliver production automation from design through deployment and support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation solutions using Power Platform, UiPath, APIs, and cloud services.
• Translate requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Build workflows, automations, integrations, and reusable components.
• Participate in technical design reviews and adhere to standards.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate with enterprise apps.
• Use source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Ensure security, credential mgmt, logging, monitoring, and recovery.
