Job summary

REEcycle, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the scaling of a Mechatronic System and optimize proprietary Drive Disassembly Machine (DDM) for rare earth recycling in Duncan, Oklahoma.

The role focuses on deployment, testing, and further build-out, with a hands-on, leadership-driven approach in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of engineering experience, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks), and a track record of managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 8+ years in engineering, product development, or manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams and driving projects.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end equipment manufacturing projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• SolidWorks CAD proficiency.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, DFM, and supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team on scaling a Mechatronic System.
• Oversee projects from R&D to commercial scale deployment.
• Develop deep knowledge of proprietary machinery integrating hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and PLCs.
• Serve as primary internal engineering contact and systems-level problem-solver.
• Coordinate external technical partners and ensure alignment with requirements and timelines.
• Guide commercialization and production readiness, ensuring compliance (UL, CE) and proper documentation.
