DMC Engineering is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our hybrid team across multiple locations in the United States. The role focuses on developing software to interface with and control hardware, collaborating with clients and internal teams on project management and business development.

Ideal candidates have a strong programming background, a Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering degree, and 5–7+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
Minimum GPA of 3.4.
5-7+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in programming, including text-based languages and object-oriented concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop project proposals.

Responsabilités

Programs applications following DMC standards to meet customer requirements.
Commissions solutions at customer sites; travel as needed; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Work with PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, etc.).
Learn relevant technologies with guidance; gain knowledge in sales, business development, and project processes.
Support system architecture design and perform engineering tasks; lead or assist as needed.
Mentor and advise new team members.
Convey deliverables to customers and maintain relationships.
