Job summary

Avid Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and test control systems for process industries. You will work on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and DCS, interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation, strong engineering foundation, and experience with Rockwell, Emerson, or Inductive Automation. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years in project-based automation and control engineering
• Experience in process-based industries (pharmaceuticals, biotech, food & beverage, chemicals)
• Experience in consulting and/or system integration
• Experience with Rockwell, Emerson, and/or Inductive Automation preferred

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and handle HMI configuration and design.
• Work on commissioning, troubleshooting/testing/debugging.
• Interface with the client on technical matters.
• Assist with estimates and proposals.
