DMC is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team across 13 office locations nationwide (excluding Austin). This hybrid role blends programming with electrical and mechanical systems to deliver solutions for diverse clients.

You will program PLC/HMI/SCADA applications (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition), participate in system architecture, support projects from proposal through deployment, and mentor junior engineers while traveling 25–40% as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum GPA of 3.4.
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in programming, including text-based languages and object-oriented concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop project proposals.
• Willing to travel 25–40%.

Responsabilidades

• Program applications per standards to meet customer requirements.
• Commission solutions at customer sites; travel as needed; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Work with PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition).
• Learn technologies with guidance; gain sales, business development, and project process knowledge.
• Support system architecture design and engineering tasks; lead or support roles.
• Mentor new team members.
• Convey deliverables to customers and maintain relationships.
