LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Senior Factory Automation Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing, integrating, and optimizing automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems in our Queen Creek, AZ facility.

The role focuses on safe, reliable operation meeting production, quality, throughput, and cycle-time targets, with opportunities to mentor cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across OEE, downtime reduction, and line ramp-up.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Automation/Controls, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in factory automation, controls engineering, robotics, manufacturing engineering, or related industrial environment.
Strong hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment and industrial control systems.
Experience with PLC programming across major platforms (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens).
Experience with industrial robots (FANUC, Nachi, ABB) and machine safety systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design, integration, installation, commissioning, startup, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems.
Provide technical leadership for PLCs, robots, motion control, HMIs, sensors, vision systems, networks, and safety systems.
Develop, modify, review, and troubleshoot PLC programs, ladder logic, robot programs, and control logic.
