Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Senior Factory Automation Engineer to lead design, integration, commissioning, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems in our Queen Creek, Arizona facility.

You will ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency while meeting production, quality, throughput, and cycle-time targets. You will provide technical leadership for PLCs, robotics, vision systems, sensors, networks, and machine safety; develop and troubleshoot

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
7+ years of experience in factory automation or related industrial environment.
Strong hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment and industrial control systems.
Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead design, integration, installation, commissioning, qualification, startup, and optimization of automated equipment and robotic systems.
Provide technical leadership for PLCs, robots, motion control, HMIs, sensors, vision systems, networks, and machine safety.
Develop, modify, review, and troubleshoot PLC programs, ladder logic, robot programs, and control sequences.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and failures.
Optimize systems to improve safety, quality, cycle time, throughput, and OEE.
Lead automation upgrades, line expansions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Define automation requirements and review equipment specs and control architectures.
Analyze data to identify opportunities for performance and efficiency gains.
Provide guidance and mentorship across cross-functional teams.
