Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I, Smart Factory (AX/DX) to support automation and digital manufacturing in a battery production environment.

The role is designed for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional eager to learn manufacturing systems and data-driven improvement. You will collaborate with production, quality, IT/MES, and vendors to support AX/DX implementation, validation, and continuous improvement while following safety and change-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent
• Strong interest in manufacturing automation and data-driven improvement
• Exposure to AX/DX, automation, and digital manufacturing preferred
• Willingness to learn and work across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Support review of manufacturing processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Assist with deployment of AX/DX solutions including remote operations and vision inspection.
• Participate in site acceptance testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of AX/DX systems and production tech.
• Collect and analyze data for root-cause analysis and system optimization.
• Prepare project documentation and status updates; track risks and deliverables.
