Job summary

High Tech Genesis is seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation for mission-critical environments. You will implement Ansible playbooks, integrate CI/CD with Jenkins, and ensure secure, auditable operations across production systems.

You will collaborate with BizOps and engineering teams to enforce best practices in IaC, source control, and automated validation while improving reliability and deployment speed in a fast-paced enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• 5+ years in Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD orchestration.
• 5+ years of Python and Linux scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Git-based workflows, and API integration.
• Experience automating high-risk production maintenance and recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and orchestration workflows.
• Integrate proxy controls with patching, IPL/restart, and software-release processes.
• Build pre-checks, post-checks, health validation, rollback, and manual fallback procedures.
• Integrate automation with Jenkins and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply source control, testing, approval, promotion, access control, and audit standards to automation.
• Produce operational playbooks that BizOps can execute safely.
