Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to manage system infrastructure and applications, developing automation solutions and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of infrastructure, while strengthening your DevSecOps skills in naval platforms context.

The role requires DoD experience, hands‑on work with Ansible, Git, PowerShell, and virtualization technologies such as VMware, and a willingness

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience supporting DoD or government agencies.
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Agile development.
  • Knowledge of automation tools including Ansible, Git, RHEL, Windows, and VMware.
  • Ability to automate builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.
  • Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25%.
  • Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automation solutions with a cross‑functional team.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage infrastructure and applications.
  • Advance DevSecOps skills in sustainment and development of naval platforms.
