Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for our Fort Worth manufacturing facility. This role leads automation initiatives, programs PLCs (Allen Bradley & Siemens), and supports SCADA/MES systems to optimize production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience in automation or manufacturing.
• Onsite work location with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Program and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and SCADA/MES systems.
• Design efficient plant layouts and ensure regulatory CGMP compliance.
• Support automation technicians and drive continuous throughput improvements.
