Job summary

Alcon in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives on the MTO ASPEX Team at our manufacturing facility. You will manage SCADA, PI Historian, and Ignition projects, program PLCs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens), and support MES/ATTP while ensuring CGMP compliance.

You will design and optimize manufacturing layouts, collaborate with production, and drive improvements in throughput, quality, safety, and reliability, mentoring Automation Technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelords degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Engineering background in electrical, chemical, mechanical, biomedical, computer science, or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and CAD design
• Project management experience
