The Sr. Automation Engineer serves as a senior technical authority responsible for designing, building, and governing enterprise‑scale intelligent automation systems centered on agentic artificial intelligence. This role sits at the intersection of advanced AI engineering, security architecture, and organizational strategy — driving the adoption of autonomous agent frameworks across complex, multi‑team environments. The position demands a practitioner who can operate at both the deep technical layer and the executive advisory level, translating emerging AI capabilities into resilient, production‑grade systems that meet the most rigorous security and compliance standards.

At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market‑informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $119,000-$169,400, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location. This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long‑term equity programs.
