• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial controls, automation, or machine control engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming on Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.
• Experience with control systems design, HMI development, and closed‑loop control.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, industrial networking, and controls integration.
• Must be available for significant travel, primarily domestic.

Responsibilities

• Support controls engineering projects through design, build, installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs for manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Contribute to control architectures, specifications, and system integration requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, plant personnel, and system integrators to deliver automation solutions.
• Review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and controls documentation; assist with updates.
• Assist with offline testing, equipment integration, and production startup support.
• Troubleshoot controls and automation issues related to programming and system performance.
• Support networking and communications for machine and system integration.
• Document engineering work and project updates for handoff and traceability.
