Job summary

AGS is seeking a Senior Automation Architect in the United States to lead the design and orchestration of an advanced Migration Factory. The role involves designing automated 'migration wave' systems, building API-driven integrations, and standardising migration workflows. Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and a solid grounding in CI/CD pipelines are essential. We’re working with a fast-scaling cyber automation business helping enterprises modernise at speed. They’re building an advanced Migration Factory to move thousands of workloads from legacy virtualisation environments into cloud-native platforms — safely, automatically, and without downtime chaos.

They’re now hiring a Senior Automation Architect to lead the design and orchestration of this capability end to end.

What you’ll do

• Design automated “migration wave” systems for complex enterprise environments
• Build API-driven integrations across ServiceNow, Infoblox, firewall and security tooling
• Standardise and scale migration workflows into repeatable enterprise patterns
• Drive adoption of IaC, GitOps, and modern automation practices across legacy estates
• Translate technical assessments into executable migration strategies

What you bring

• Deep hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Experience with virtualisation migration tooling (e.g. MTV, KubeVirt) or fast learner in this space
• Solid grounding in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Background in large-scale infrastructure transformation or data centre migration programmes
• Ability to design resilient, event-driven automation systems
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working in global delivery teams
