Job summary

Mark's Auto Service in Gillette, NJ is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician. You will handle maintenance and general repairs across a six-bay shop with six lifts, using Shop-Ware for digital inspections and diagnostics.

The role offers $65,000-$85,000+ yearly, hourly pay plus a weekly team bonus, with paid training, ASE reimbursement, medical and retirement benefits, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• B-Level automotive repair experience with ability to complete most work independently.
• Diagnostic ability from intermediate to advanced, including electrical and drivability.
• Experience performing digital vehicle inspections is required.
• Experience servicing a broad mix of domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles.
• Ase certifications preferred; company reimburses ASE certification.
• New Jersey emissions inspector licensing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and general repairs across domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections using Shop-Ware with documented condition and recommendations.
• Diagnose drivability, mechanical, and electrical concerns with intermediate-to-advanced skills.
• Use Snap-on and Autel tools to support diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform tires, brakes, oil leaks, electrical, maintenance, and engine repairs.
• Conduct NJ emissions inspections when licensed.
• Complete approved repairs after authorization.
• Collaborate with GM, service advisors, and technicians to maintain workflow.
