Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This role reports to Store and Service Managers and focuses on basic and advanced car maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring vehicles perform to customers' expectations.

The position requires at least 2 years in automotive service, ASE certification preferred but not required, and a valid driver's license. Weekend work may be required; tools provided by you, or you must have Technician Tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ automotive service or engine diagnostic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work and diagnose problems.
• Inspect/replace/repair defective parts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep up with evolving automotive tech.
• Uphold company values in interactions with customers and co-workers.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures and safety standards.
