Job summary

Grease Monkey International is seeking an Experienced Technician A in Ingleside, IL. You will use your mechanical knowledge to perform brakes, oil changes, fluid exchanges and more while educating customers on preventive maintenance.

You will earn an hourly rate plus a commission that is standard across the company. Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, assisting in training others, documenting work, and ensuring safety and clean workspaces.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Takes on complex repairs and diagnostics including transmissions and engine work.
• Assists in training junior technicians.
• Repairs brakes, A/C, transmissions, power steering and suspension as required.
• Documents work performed and test drives vehicles when needed.
• Maintains tools and work area in a clean, organized manner.
• Complies with safety regulations and company guidelines.

Education

Five+ years experience

Valid Driver's License

State Emission Certification

Current ASE Certifications
