Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in accordance with MAP guidelines and Sun Auto standards. The role emphasizes clear communication of diagnoses and recommended services to customers and service staff.

Responsibilities include performing Multi-point Inspections, documenting repairs, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. ASE certifications should be maintained and renewed as needed during employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to applicable certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and service staff.
• Recommends services to keep the vehicle in running condition and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to shop leadership.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
