Job summary
Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles with an emphasis on quality work. This role rewards expertise with a clear path to senior positions as the shop expands.
You will perform advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, drivability analysis, transmission and engine repairs, and other complex tasks. A 5+ year track record and own professional tools are required; ASE certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
- A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
- Transmission experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and own tools.
- ASE certifications preferred, proven ability matters more than certificates.
Responsibilities
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- Drivability concerns analysis and repair.
- Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
- Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
- Complex repairs beyond others' capability.
- General A-Level automotive repair when needed.
