JEFF WYLER OF FLORENCE HONDA in Florence, KY is hiring flat-rate experienced automotive service technicians. We seek technicians who can diagnose and repair most vehicle components with minimal supervision, and who have worked as a B or C-class general service tech.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
• ASE certifications are required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain records.
• Experience with air-conditioning systems.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with heavy equipment and diesel engines; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle components per repair orders.
• Order parts with the parts department.
• Save and tag parts for warranty or customer request.
• Assess vehicle to determine further safety or service needs.
• Communicate with the service advisor about additional work.
• Document all work on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in manufacturer training and stay updated.
• Keep shop area neat and ensure tools are accounted for.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
