Job summary

The Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking an Auto Property Damage Claims Representative in Connecticut to manage Auto PD claims in our claims unit. You will handle high-volume phone interactions with insureds, claimants, and brokers while delivering exceptional service and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing policy provisions, investigating accidents, adjusting reserves, and negotiating settlements within authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of related PD claim experience.
• CT, NH, RI licenses preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage.
• Investigate auto accidents to assess liability by interviewing claimants and witnesses.
• Evaluate and adjust reserves; prepare dispatch instructions.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits.
• Maintain follow-up on pending files and advise insureds.
• Coordinate with vendors and handle subrogation when applicable.
• Manage communications via phone, email, and mail.
