Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager in the United States who inspires the team, drives professional sales, and grows the business with integrity.

This exempt role requires managing a demanding schedule and a minimum of 50–55 hours per week, including 11-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and downtime for meals. The GM will lead store operations, build Professional Customer relationships, coach staff, and ensure inventory and safety standards are maintained while delivering strong

Qualifications

• 2-3 years leading a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Develop and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store team members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Coach team to deliver on Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Lead on-duty responsibilities and safety practices.
