Job summary

AutoZone’s Senior Retail Sales Associate helps customers find parts and solutions, sharing expert advice and supporting store operations to deliver WOW! Customer Service.

You’ll engage with customers, lead teammates, drive sales, manage inventory, and follow safety policies to keep the store running smoothly. In this role you will install basic products and provide diagnostics support, while building product knowledge and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Full-time availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Assist customers with installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
