Job summary

AutoZone’s Senior Retail Sales Associate role is a frontline position focused on delivering WOW! customer service.

You will help customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with product selection, provide expert advice, help with installations of wipers, batteries and bulbs, and use diagnostic tools as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge required.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
