Job summary

Replacement Parts, Inc. operates a network of auto parts and paint stores and a warehouse division with about 1,400 employees across twelve states. The Counter Sales Level 3 role handles over-the-counter sales, phones orders, and supports store operations with a sales-driven, customer-focused approach.

Employees may mentor junior staff, assist in end-of-day processing, and participate in training while contributing to customer satisfaction and sales targets in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED.
• Previous professional automotive parts counter sales experience and ability to reconcile/balance accounting figures.
• Prior leadership experience, or independent decision making abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate courteous, respectful, and kind conduct toward every employee and customer.
• Trains other employees on parts knowledge and store processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service including assisting in determining parts needed, offering options to solve customer problems, and diffusing situations involving an upset or dissatisfied customer.
• Research part’s availability through computer and catalogs for stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing.
• Open and/or close store as scheduled.
• Potential supervisory duties in the absence of the store manager.
