Job summary

Agora Data, Inc. is seeking a Funding Specialist to support auto loan funding with integrity. You will evaluate documents, programs, and verifications and provide superior service to internal and external customers in the funding process.

You will communicate funding statuses, manage originator relationships, and ensure accurate funding records while adhering to policy and regulations. This role emphasizes team collaboration and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of Auto Originations/Funding experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Intermediate to advanced typing and data entry processing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to respond to internal and external requests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate loan funding statuses to originators, sales, titles, and leadership.
• Manage relationships with originators.
• Maintain accurate records of all loan funding activities.
• Accountable for managing the Auto Loan origination process from application review through funding.
• Ensures adherence to internal policy and external regulations.
• Supports respectful experiences for applicants and dealers throughout the origination and funding process.
• Identifies processes and control improvements; communicates findings to the respected manager.
• Assists with questions, calls, emails, and faxes, and serves as an overall go-to for funding analysts.
• Assists with sorting the manager queue and escalating issues on pending contracts.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
