Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Major Case Specialist, Auto Liability, to evaluate, reserve and resolve high-exposure claims. You will serve as an expert technical resource to claim professionals, customers and partners.

The role requires handling complex injury and property damage claims, with opportunities for strategic negotiations, litigation management, and collaboration across legal and underwriting teams. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of complex bodily injury claim and litigation experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management and estimating software; advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Conduct detailed investigations to gather evidence and establish reserves.
• Evaluate claim information to make informed coverage decisions and resolutions.
• Engage in negotiations to achieve fair and equitable outcomes.
• Develop and execute advanced resolution strategies with internal/external resources.
