Job summary

Safelite in Roanoke, VA is seeking Auto Glass Technicians at Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician levels based on experience, qualifications, and certifications. The role focuses on delivering high-quality glass repair and replacement services with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will recalibrate safety systems, operate Safelite tooling, manage customer communications, and contribute to mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Auto Glass Technician is required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying spaces.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in glass installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop, prioritizing safety, quality, and customer service.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems; perform diagnostic testing when needed.
• Operate Safelite tools and tech: True Seal, Ezi-Wire, Glass Table System, MRM tools; maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate with customers in person, by text, and by phone; promote Safelite services.
• Support mentorship and coaching for technicians; assist with training as needed.
