Job summary

Johnson Genesis of Cary is seeking an experienced automotive detailer to join our team in Cary, NC. This full-time position requires a hands-on approach to maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.

You will wash, wax, and detail interiors and exteriors, inspect for defects, and help prepare vehicles for guests. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; hours may vary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2–3 years of automotive detailing experience is required.
• Ability to operate tools safely and follow safety guidelines.
• Must be self-motivating and work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows.
• Wax, polish and buff exterior surfaces.
• Shampoo and vacuum seats, carpets, trunk, and upholstery.
• Clean engine and engine compartments.
• Remove defects and swirls.
• Prepare all sold vehicles for guests; other duties as assigned.
