Job summary

Johnson Genesis of Cary, part of Johnson Automotive, is seeking a full-time Experienced Automotive Detailer in Cary, NC. The role focuses on meticulous exterior and interior cleaning, polishing, and vehicle preparation for guests.

A 2–3 year detailing background and ability to drive manual transmission cars are required. Candidates must maintain safety standards, pass a drug screen and background checks, and be flexible with a changing schedule.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2–3 years of Automotive Detailing experience is required.
• Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, driving record check and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows.
• Wax, polish and buff exterior.
• Shampoo and vacuum seats, carpets, trunk, cargo area and other upholstery.
• Clean engine and engine compartments.
• Remove defects and swirls.
• Clean and prepare all sold vehicles for guests.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
