Job summary

Aspire General Insurance in California seeks a Sr. Field Appraiser to inspect auto damages in the field or virtually and to prepare detailed estimates of repair costs. The role requires extensive expertise in estimating, value assessment, and negotiation with repair facilities.

You will research market values, communicate with clients, and ensure thorough documentation while upholding company standards and procedures. Travel to sites may be required, and a background check is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Ten plus years’ experience in Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• Ten plus years of Auto vehicle estimating and losses.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to negotiate with repair shops and clients.
• Pass a background check and pursue Independent Adjuster License.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and evaluates vehicle damage in field or virtually and documents repair costs.
• Present estimates, negotiate settlements with repair facilities and related parties.
• Research actual cash value of vehicles to settle total losses.
• Maintain client communication throughout the repair process and provide timely service.
• Write appraisals using licensed software and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Travel may be required.
