COUNTRY Financial is seeking an Auto Service Appraiser Sr - Desk in Bloomington, IL. This hybrid full-time role inspects damaged vehicles and prepares itemized estimates to restore pre-damage condition.

You will communicate with vehicle owners, schedule inspections, and assess damages for policy coverage, while auditing third-party estimates and negotiating settlements within authority. A strong track record is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Experience inspecting damaged vehicles and preparing itemized appraisals.
• Ability to communicate with vehicle owners, negotiate settlements within authority and coordinate with body shops and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Inspects damaged vehicles and prepares itemized damage appraisals with parts, materials and labor estimates.
• Schedules and conducts physical inspections and evaluates damages for policy coverage.
• Audits/ Reviews estimates from body shops and independent appraisers and documents subrogation per guidelines.
• Negotiates and settles claims within prescribed authority and maintains relationships with shops and vendors.
