Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our growing team. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and collaborate with teammates to keep work flowing smoothly and on schedule.

The role features a commission/flag rate structure with guaranteed minimum wages; we offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and other benefits. Preference for I-CAR welding certs and body repair experience.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
