Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Virginia to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador promise.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

Execute WOW plan consistently across jobs.
Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, pliers.
Repair dents with fillers when needed; realign chassis and frames as required.
Remove and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specifications or equivalent; inspect completed work.
