Job summary

Boyd Group Services Roanoke, VA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering speed, quality and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish using a range of shop tools in a collaborative environment.

Expect to work with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold safety standards; you’ll serve as a Brand Ambassador for Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
