Job summary

Hendrick Collision Center Hickory is seeking an experienced body repair technician to identify and perform required repairs in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

You will examine damage, estimate costs, request parts, perform repairs using fixed or new parts, and document work. You must maintain an organized, safe work area, follow safety rules, and uphold the company’s core values while delivering quality

Qualifications

Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods.
Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience.
Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions.

Responsibilities

Examine body damage on customer vehicles.
Identify necessary body repair work.
Estimate cost of body work.
Request necessary parts.
Perform body repairs including removing damaged parts and replacing with fixed or new parts.
Document repairs performed.
Perform repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance guidelines.
Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Participate in required training.
Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
