Job summary

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Collision Center (Hoover) is seeking an experienced collision technician responsible for identifying and performing body repairs to factory and Collision Center specifications. You will examine damage, identify repair needs, estimate costs, request parts, perform body repairs, document services, and maintain safety and quality standards in a busy shop.

This role requires a High School Diploma, 5+ years of experience, and a valid Driver’s License; strong problem

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of experience in collision repair preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Examines body damage on customer vehicles.
• Identifies necessary body repair work.
• Estimates cost of body work.
• Requests necessary parts.
• Performs body repairs including removing damaged parts and replacing with fixed or new parts.
• Documents repairs performed.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
