Job summary

Carvana is seeking Autobody Preppers in the United States with a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience. You will join a team at Carvana’s inspection centers and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastics and roof/rocker repair.

Roles range from entry-level to experienced Preppers, with opportunities to train others and advance. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits accompany a path to growth within an evolving company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to train other autobody technicians.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license; MVR check may apply.
• Safety equipment usage required (face shield, goggles, gloves, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Entry-Level Prepper: perform light bodywork, prep, sanding, buffing, bumper removal/installation, minor Bondo repair.
• Mid-Level Prepper: bodywork on multiple panels, heavy plastic welding, roof/rocker repair, stud welding.
• Experienced Prepper: train others and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels.
