Job summary

Carvana is seeking Autobody Preppers with a minimum of five years of professional automotive bodywork experience. The role includes training other autobody technicians and performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to train other autobody technicians.
• Experience with heavy plastic welding, stud welding, roof and rocker panel repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform light bodywork for entry-level prep; prepping, sanding, buffing, bumper removal/installation.
• For mid-level prepper, perform bodywork on multiple panels; heavy plastic welding and repair.
• As experienced prepper, train others and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels.
