Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) seeks an AUKUS Senior Project Manager to lead large on-site and off-site projects from Erwin, Tennessee. You will serve as principal client contact, drive schedules and budgets, and provide technical leadership to project teams including subcontractors.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering, 10+ years in the field (4+ in process development/operations), and strong communication. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or technical discipline.
• Over ten years' experience with minimum 4 years in chemical process development, operations, design or environmental services.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interfacing with staff, management, and clients.
• Experience in decommissioning and construction.
• PMP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Propose, plan, execute, and review operations with schedules and budgets to meet objectives.
• Interface with customers and management to meet needs while maximizing benefits to NFS.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to project teams, including subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Health & Safety, Regulator Compliance, Laboratory, Environmental Services, Engineering and Technical Services to achieve goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations to management, clients, and regulators.
• Instill quality performance and compliance with regulatory and QA programs.
• Support regulatory interface with technical information as needed.
• Prepare technical and cost proposals for proposed projects.
