Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion. You will supervise staff, mentor team members, and foster strong client relationships while delivering high-quality services across various client sizes and industries.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, a CPA in progress or attained, and at least 2 years of public accounting experience with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Licensed CPA or pursuing CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, technical and auditing skills with client service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team in planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations.
• Supervise staff and mentor team members; build client relationships.
• Coordinate staffing, budgets and deadlines across multiple engagements.
• Review general ledger accounts for accurate entries and assist in issue resolution.
