Job summary

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is seeking a senior field auditor to perform audits, investigations, inspections, and education initiatives across licensed locations. You will partner with senior staff to ensure regulatory compliance and sound processes, with duties in marketing oversight and stakeholder outreach.

Qualified candidates will have accounting/finance education and relevant experience; travel and training are required, with potential telework during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college/university with accounting/finance/marketing coursework; education may substitute for experience.
• 12 accounting/auditing hours; 6 in accounting; transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax, fee, and regulatory audits with minimal errors under supervision.
• Prepare administrative cases and documentation for investigations and inspections.
• Perform physical inspections of licensed locations for compliance with codes and rules.
• Assist in marketing guidance and education initiatives for industry stakeholders.
• Document reports and manage travel/activity logs; assist with licensing and permits as needed.
