Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field.
  • Five years of responsible professional work experience in accounting, auditing and/or financial analysis, including at least two years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Degree will be required, no work experience substitution will be used.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, directing and managing one or more functions and operations of the Clerk/Auditor-Controller Office.
  • Provide supervision and training for assigned staff in the Clerk/Auditor-Controller Office.
  • Perform complex assignments in the accounting and auditing of County financial records and fiscal and budget administration.
  • Provide general assistance and answer questions regarding Clerk/Auditor-Controller functions, policies, and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or closely related field
