Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 7+ years of Federal experience in Auditing, Financial Management, Risk Management, or a related field, specifically within the Department of War (DoW) environment. Must possess a strong understanding of DoW accounting procedures, fiscal law, and familiarity with the DoW Financial Management Regulation (FMR).
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analytics, modeling, and dashboard creation.
• Strong hyper-analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership by guiding stakeholder groups, prioritizing initiatives, and navigating complex dynamics to keep teams aligned and on schedule.
• Serve as a Senior Auditor with SME knowledge to support audit response and remediation across end-to-end business processes.
• Develop and execute internal control testing plans; validate populations and samples used in testing.
• Prepare Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and collaborate on corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Perform validation testing of CAPs to ensure effectiveness and sustainability over time.
• Coordinate remediation activities across departments and monitor progress with process owners.
• Develop, review and govern MOAs/MOUs with service providers ensuring clear CUECs and roles.
